Photo Booth Fun!

Photo Booth's are fabulous!!!
I cannot think of a better "add-on"
to your next party... easy, festive &
more fun than you can imagine.

~ Here's How To Do It ~

Start with some really silly props!
Chalkboard Speech Bubbles are Fun..
and they are available in so many colors!

"Stuff on a stick"

Set up a "booth"!
This can be a simple as a wall in your backyard, or you can create a back drop with fabric, a sheet, ribbons and so on.
 Here are some examples:

When you order a back drop, this is what it will look like...

Next, add a over sized old chair, some barstools, a large "floating frame" to hang/hold or nothing at all.
You get the idea!

Then, create signage...
You'll want your guests to know "what's going over there"...
You can easily make your own sign, or if you want to buy one... here's a cutie!

"Smile"
You maybe be a photographer or know one, either way you don't need to be a pro to make the magic happen! Just set up a small table & have a tub full of props & the rest takes care of it's self. In fact, if you have an "Polaroid" Camera you can leave your booth "unmanned" and let your guests do their own thing...

Here's the newest model...

The "OG" Original Polaroid works great too!

Stuff "On a Stick" - Little Retreats
Ribbon Backdop - Sarah Q Happy Booths

The truth is, you probably have most of the props you need lying around the house, in the attic, in your kids dress up truck, and so on!

The bottom line... a photo booth is a great idea for any wedding, birthday, showers or any gathering of good friends & family!

Not interested in putting a booth together yourself?
Then, rent one!
Depending on where you live, there are companies that provide this service, such as:

Good Clean Fun!

This idea from
Style Me Pretty is Bubbliscious!

BUBBLE TIN PARTY FAVORS
Materials
6” Tin Cans, found at Specialty Bottle
• Pink Pipe Cleaners, found at Michael's
• Bubble Solution, found at iParty
• Raffia, found at Michael's
• Full Sheet Label Paper, found at Office Depot
• Computer / Color Printer
• Paper Cutter

Instructions:
1. Download and print out the template for the bubble labels and trim just under and above the pink lines (so that the lines show) and horizontally at the end of the pink lines.

2. Adhere to the tins using as light of a tough as possible so you don’t leave fingerprints.
3. To create the pipe cleaner wands, shape the top of the wand into a circle, then twist the end around the handle.
4. Measure your raffia to about 18.” Holding the pipe cleaner in place, wrap the raffia around the wand and the tin, tying in a bow at the front.
5. Fill the tins about ≤ full with the bubble solution (can be found at the dollar store or any party stores).

Now that's just good clean fun!

I Scream, You Scream...

WE ALL SCREAM, FOR ICE CREAM!

When I came across this stinkin' cute ice cream cart,
I just knew I had to share!

MEET

An excerpt from their website:
"Sweet Lucie's provides premium organic ice cream & organic toppings to Southern California private parties & events in a classic 1959 ice cream truck or vintage Italian Ice cream cart. We use only natural ingredients & select fair trade chocolates, teas, and coffees. The ice cream & sauces are handmade specifically for your special event. Our serving cups & spoons are not only recyclable but compostable as well. Sweet Lucie's evokes an era when ice cream was made with simple, natural ingredients. Using only simple, all natural organic ingredients is better for both you & the planet."

Besides the cute cart, they are in the midst of completely restoring this vintage ice cream truck! It will be available for service soon... I cannot wait!

Spotlight On ~ Fishs Eddy

Fishs Eddy... really??
That's a funny name. Well, this store is no joke & I adore it!
What is Fishs Eddy?
They specialize in "commercial quality dish & glassware with plenty of things that make people smile". It's true.
Why do I covet their store & their website?
Simply put - They ROCK! Their retro & vintage inspired items are ah-mazing! Their "Diner" ware (yes, that's right d-i-n-e-r, not dinner), beautiful serving pieces & uniques selection of gifts is impressive. They have so many fun patterns of "everyday" ware, you will not know which one to pick. I have many pieces from their "Alice" line & the glove molds are fab!

To read more about their history go here (BTW it will explain why they are called "Fishs Eddy" if you're just dying to know). I've had the privilege of visiting the NYC Store, I highly recommend it! But, if a trek to the Big Apple is not in your future, don't fret! They have a wonderful website as well.

~ Here's of sampling of why I love Fishs Eddy ~

To take a tour of their NYC Store

Fishs Eddy's motto is they are happiest "doing dishes".
I say... "me too!"
